1. Jim Corbett National Park: This is the oldest and most beautiful national park in India that is situated in Ramnagar in the district of Nainital, Uttarakhand. This national park also holds the highest tiger population among all the other national parks. This amazing national park was established in the year 1936 and holds a rich history as well because it was the time when tiger reservation, preservation and conservation really got into place.
The area of this national park is quite huge which is 1,318 square kilometers and this huge national park is home to more than 600 species of flora and you are going to witness around 50 species of mammals, 25 species of reptiles and 580 species of birds. 2. Ranthambore National Park: This national park is one of the biggest and oldest national parks in northern India. It is situated in Sawai Madhopur city which is in the state of Rajasthan. The park is not just about flora and fauna but this park is also home to several lakes such as Padam Talab, Raj Bagh Talab and Malik Talab. This natural beauty was established in the year 1980.
The area covered by the national park is quite huge that is 1,334 square kilometers. This huge protected place is home to more than 400 species of flora, 40 species of mammals, 35 species of reptiles and around 320 species of birds. 3. Gir National Park: This National Park is a pride for Gujarat. This park is unique and one of the most visited national parks because of its population of Asiatic Lions. Permanent resident Asiatic Lions make this national park a favorite spot for all wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is situated in the Indian state of Gujarat. The national park is home to more than 700 Asiatic Lions.
The area covered by this beautiful national park is 258 square kilometers. The park is home to more than 38 mammal species, 37 species of reptiles, 300 species of birds and more than 2000 species of insects.
