Like any other National Park, the Jungle safari in the Kanha National Park is also organized in the two shifts in a day. The number of Safari Jeep is fixed per shift which cannot be extended at any cost. There is only one mode of Safari available in Kanha to explore the flora and fauna of the forest which is Jeep Safari. Neither the Canter Safari or the Elephant Safari is available in the Kanha Tiger Park. In a Jeep Safari, a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children is allowed, apart from a driver and a naturalist. A naturalist or Jungle guide is mandatory with every Jeep that goes in the park for safari. Kanha Safari Booking Procedure-

You have to give the following information at the time of booking your safari permit-

  • Full name, Age, Sex (as printed on the ID proof) of each tourist.
  • Date and Shift of the Safari (Morning/Afternoon).
  • Identity Card Number of each visitor (Voter Id, Aadhar Card, Pan card, Driving license, etc.).
  • Full Fee of Entry permits in advance.

  • The full fee of the safari must be paid in advance.
  • Any refund or cancellation is not allowed against the approved bookings.
  • A Permit cannot be transferred to or exchanged with anyone.
  • You must carry the same ID card with you at the time of safari entry.

Ranthambore National Park Open Timing

Generally, the opening and closing time of the park is in sync with the sunrise and sunset. The park opens around half an hour after the sunrise and closes around half an hour before the sunset. As the sunrise and sunset timing changes with the change of the season, the entry and exit timing of the Ranthambore National Park changes accordingly.
