Early in the morning after taking breakfast check out from the hotel on time and we transfer you to Sibsagar by surface in a comfortable vehicle (approx 90 Kms/ 02 hrs drive). Now welcome to the ancient capital of the Ahom rulers, who ruled Assam for more than six hundred years. There are numerous places to see in Sibsagar. Sibsagar lake which is rising around the huge 129 acres artificial tank, some of the archeological remains, palaces and old temples of Ahom dynasty are the key attractions of the place.
After we finish sightseeing in Sibsagar further we move to Mokokchung - the most significant urban center in all of Nagaland after Kohima and Dimapur and it is also called the home of Ao Naga. Sibsagar to Mokokchung approximate distance is 128 Kms and it takes approximately 03 hrs to reach by surface. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and overnight stay in a hotel.
Wake up early and get ready for the whole day sightseeing in a pretty town, Mokokchung is a home to migrated Aos Naga people. There are many interesting places in Mokokchung, which can be explored by travelers. It includes Chuchuyimlang, Ungma, Mopungchuket, Molung etc. are the popular Naga villages. The best season to visit these places in Mokokchung is October and November. This place is mostly preferred by travelers from Dibrugarh and Dimapur. You can utilize whole day in sightseeing. Today we drive to Touphema, another Angami tribal village where you will spend the next one night. Touphema has a number of chalets built in traditional Angami fashion and guests will be greeted with superb Angami hospitality. You have the opportunity to visit local tribal homes and gain a fascinating insight into the wonderful myths, legends and stories of the Naga people. There is also a museum displaying traditional jewellery, clothing and other artifacts. Come back to resort and overnight stay in a Touphema village.
Today we head towards the Dimori Cove, a small but beautiful place that is located on the Kohim-Imphal highway which forms a base for trekking up the Japfu Peak (3048 meter Mt) Japfu, home of the world's tallest rhododendron tree (20 meters high) and also for trekking to Dzukou Valley, the best trekking valley of North-East India. Morning 30 minutes drive will bring you to Kohima. On arrival at kohima check-in at the hotel. Visit the WW II Cemetery, nestled in the heart of Kohima town, where one of the fiercest battles was fought. Also visit State Museum. It gives you a peep into the various aspects of Naga Culture. Also visit Angami Tribal village of Khonoma, where the last part of the Anglo Naga War was fought. Overnight stay at Kohima.
After breakfast we drive to Kaziranga National Park, a world heritage site and famous for its one- horned rhinos. After 05 hours of surface journey in a comfortable vehicle we reach Kaziranga. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure or you may go for local sightseeing. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Get up very early in the morning and get ready for the elephant ride. Enjoy elephant ride through the sanctuary for 1 hr. to appreciate the beauty of famous one-horned rhino and the other wildlife. After you finish elephant rise come back to hotel, take breakfast and after a short break we will go for Jeep Safari for two hours inside the park. Utilize rest of the day as per your desire. This day we take you on a full day excursion. Shillong, popularly called as "Scottland of the East" is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming misty sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings. Afternoon is free for shopping. You may opt for Cherapunjee - the wettest place in the world (65 Kms/ 02 hrs). At last come back to the hotel enjoy dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
After taking breakfast check out from the hotel on time and transfer to Guwahati by surface in a comfortable vehicle. Enroute visit Cathedral Church, Ward's Lake, and Lady Hydrae Park.
